Peatlands Restoration - Perimeter Fencing on Selshion ASSI - supported by PEACEPLUS PEAT+
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council
Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council invites Tenders from suitably experienced, environmentally conscious and qualified contractors to provide and install perimeter fencing at Selshion ASSI in Co Armagh. The project aims to restore peatland across 19 sites enhancing biodiversity and promoting carbon capture. The project will be led by Ulster Wildlife with eight project partners including Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon District Council. The primary objective of this restoration work is to establish stock-proof containment for conservation grazing, preventing unauthorised motor vehicle access and to delineate this protected ASSI habitat.
